It's happened again..! I've been noted in the annals of famous blogs. I guess that's a first, really. The last Amazing Thing was when famous bloggers visited AND COMMENTED here. But this time AtoS has shown up in the blogroll of Making Home! If you haven't clicked over there, you should. It's full of tons of Deep Thoughts. And I really admire her; she's young, but really tackles some big issues. I take on big issues, but I don't usually tackle them. Part of me is afraid I'll paint a spiritual target on myself . Like if I say "you raise kids this way" that'll guarantee that mine turn out terribly. But maybe I should address that particular problem of mine in another post...

In any case, I'm quite humbled, again. I'm sure these bloggers have much more better and important things to do than take notice of this silly blog (which most of the time serves solely as a journal of events for me). It gives me a feeling akin to what you see in movies when some lady brings her hand to her chest and gasps out, "Who, me? Why, thank you!" And I'm really so not like that.

In any case, Jess, if you ever happen to click this way and see this, you may discount the vote on your Christians Talking Sex poll that states "it's worldly and shouldn't be discussed" - I was so excited to see my blog on your list that I sent a link to my brother, who promptly wanted to skew your results...

Oh goodness, now I'M the one that's humbled. I hope no one would think of me as anything different than you- just a normal mom of three kids, trying to raise them for Jesus. Maybe leave a comment from time to time, eh?! :)

And thanks for the heads-up about your brother... what a brother-ish thing to do! :)

Jess, hm.. no, I think you're famous. :) At least, your blog is much more... reasonable? than mine.. Very put together, coherent, with purpose and plan, (hence readership) while mine reflects my, uh, Jacqueline-of-all-Trades-Mistress-of-None personality, maybe. The randomness that is our life? :)(hence, less readership!) And yeah, I'll try to leave a comment...

Oh my word... if anything describes me, it's a that Jacqueline phrase (I've never heard the female version- is that an ellajac original?).

Have you been around long enough to notice that I never quite finish a series? I started a series on personalities and got to 4 out of 6 and haven't had the motivation to finish. I started a series on friendships of women, and got about 2-3 posts into it and just totally dropped the ball.

I'm SO not a good finisher. All that to say, while it might *SEEM* like there's a method to my madness, there really isn't. It's just my madness, and there happens to be SO MUCH of it, that it happens to fall into nice neat little categories that appear well-planned and coherent. Get me? :) That's the benefit of having started my blog as a series of rants a year ago and not really gaining readership until Spring.

And thanks for your comment. Comments let me know people are actually reading. Post-partum is always an interesting time... :)

Jess, Haha, yes, I made up that phrase... I'm REALLY GOOD at lots of things, but not an expert at anything...

And no, I'm not a long-time reader. I think I ran across your blog a week or two ago. I've really enjoyed what I've read, but my time (attention span?) doesn't usually let me sit down and really determine whether someone finished their 'series' or not. :D And maybe one of these days my rants will begin falling into nice little categories. :)

By the way, my brother tried to vote AGAIN, but luckily you have some Magic Internet Tracking Device which prevented him from doing so. Well done!
